Biography

Jose Martinez's scholarship is grounded in his commitment to identify the most effective interventions and educational practices for children on the autism spectrum as a means to translate them into practical resources that teachers and families can use to improve the academic, social, and behavioral outcomes of these children. Dr. Martinez teaches courses in the Unified Early Childhood (Bachelor’s degree level) and Early Childhood Unified (Master’s degree level) programs within the Department of Special Education.
