Special Education Professor Receives Romain P. Mackie Leadership Award

KU Special Education professor Edward Meyen is the recipient of the 2012 Romain P. Mackie Leadership Award. The award is presented to an outstanding professional who has demonstrated leadership in the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) and other organizations for an extensive period of time in various areas within the field: service delivery; teacher education and professional development; research; policy; assessment and publications.
